Shadow Star (02/04/2012 02:01pm):
I'm not sure how this got a 10 in 1 rating. But, this is filled with problems. with only 10 property for BM and YC funding for naval combat is going to be slow. and PL and GE aren't much better with only 1 battlecopter a turn. Black Hole can restock their infantry to all fronts and split their air units to all fronts. The terrain for all five areas is horribly bland. with 5 Com towers BH could pick anyone. (I wouldn't hold it against Black Hole to pick Flak just to spite the five sad sods who chose the allies side. at a bonus 50% offense, that's hard to handle, especially when they come with 4 more property then the allies combined. The middle "land" area is so chokey that no one is going to be going anywhere except for infantry, mechs, and Sturm. (speaking of Sturm, 130/120 units anyone? Whereas the allies are scrambling for funds they don't have, Black Hole can take turns churning out gamewinning units to each front. If you're still interested in this kind of map, look to the final missions or 3 V 1 missions on the cartridge. They're good building blocks for concepts. Then for terrain look at the Good 2 player maps, and the A and S rank maps, they have a wide variety of hints hidden in the maps. I'm not going to rate this. it's just, depressing. |
