not sure if it is worthy to lock a base with a rocket. the fund is very low. the concept is very interesting, but i think it might be better to increase the area of land. |

Just move the bases closer so the center so they are not rocket lockable. |

Then they'd be arty lockable, which is worse. I agree with roswell and headphone, rocket- locking is not a problem. My main concern is just that every property is contested, which could lead to some pretty stupid gameplay situations. I think if it was a little more structured in terms of where each player could send units with each lander, that would be a bit better. Agree with rob, though, cool concept. Nice spin on the immigration map style. |

I agree that this looks a little choke-y. I definitely think the concept is nice, but testing would be necessary to reveal any pre-deploy imbalances, methinks. |

Sami is extremely strong on this map. Her landers move 1 square faster, there's lots of infantry combat well into the middlegame because of the 2000-fund start, and since all the properties are contested, her capturing is even more important. She's probably worth banning if you decide to play on the map. It's certainly chokier than I thought, since you can use the landers as blockers. You also have to watch out for fuel--at some point, building APCs is necessary to refuel your landers. |

The only problem here is that with the labs placed like this, GE can go for both labs from the start, and it's really hard for YC to stop them - they would be forced to send units to protect their lab right away. This problem is even bigger if GE is Sami. The easiest way to fix this would be to switch the labs so they match the way the bases are positioned. |

This map has a decent concept -- kind of like the old immigration maps that used to pop up now and then -- but I think the implementation is lacking. I know it's what you're going for, but games are probably going to be a little too chaotic, and the lab placement could be improved (as DS suggested). I'll go 6/10 for now. |
