1. This map isn't finished. Just like some advice on what I have so far. I'll be putting some
trees on the west, south, and east sides. a few more mountains too.
2. Don't comment on fta unless you see a MAJOR problem. I think this map is too complicated
to even consider a turn advantage.
3. To win you must be the last man standing. You can't win by capturing a base.
4. The west side is supposed to motivate land troops, North-East air units, and south-east
sea units.

Check to make sure that each country can get to the same amount of cities, bases, airports,
and seaports as any other country. (If you don't think you need FTA, check this first, then if
there are inconsistencies there are problems.)
Make sure that each countries airport isn't going to be within fighter distance.
Try to check to make sure that chokepoints aren't too plentiful without easy ways around
them. (example being the left side has a lot of chokepoints)

I wouldn't say this map is too complicated for FTA to exist, but I'm more noticing that there
are inconsistencies with countries getting property for the first 5 days.
The map has a lot of aesthetical things going on that are kind of ugly, All of the columns of
mountains, the row of mountains, the overly straight roads. Oh, and it's always smarter to
ask if there are fta problems, then stating that you don't think there are going to be any due
to map complexity. 15 different ways to play a game still means that player 1 gets to pick
their strategy first.

What I mean is that how can a person really know who has the advantage/ For example
Orange goes first, yet for example, in the southwest he only has to fight one opponent, but
only has 1 or 2 cities access (in the beginning). The inside players have access to 3-4 cities
but have to fight an opponent on each side of them.

I'm not sure the chokepoints on the west side will be a problem since each player only has 1
factory. You think? It's like a filter system. The idea is that the 5 teams will fight and only 2 or
3 teams will survive to be able to move past that first line of mountains. Basically the same
concept in the north and south. Like in the south, it will be difficult to make a sea unit without
killing the neighbors first.

Shadow Star, I think you bring up some important factors, but I don't think it's black and
white. I think this map needs a test play before knowing any serious fta or bad positioning. I
am worried about green in the southeast and purple and orange having great positioning
(only 1 opponent to fight). Thanks for the comments.

You should definitely scramble the base order in each section a little so that the same countries
aren't fighting each other all the time. For example, PL always fights YC in every section, while
BM fights OS and GE. If you mix it up, it would make things more even for sure.
Madd Maxx (02/22/2012 03:29am):
great idea! thanks

So I changed the positioning of factories. Does that look more fair? Yellow should be getting
a little less money per turn but has the advantage of being at the end on 2 parts (only 4
neighbors compared to 5)

Kruegster (02/22/2012 04:40pm):
The cetral com tower is for GE or OS because they can rush it with a t-copter, and
whichever player gets the com tower will gain a big advantage.

With the capitals hidden you basically need to wait for a player to quit. Even if a player has
one of his bases captured, he can still play with the other 2 bases. Other than simply
waiting for a player to quit, about the only other way to get ahead on this map is to pick
one or more players to team up with.
Madd Maxx (04/11/2013 05:36am):
I've made some serious changes to the map. I'm still making some tweaks.
Madd Maxx (04/11/2013 06:34pm):
IGNORE THE COMMENTS ABOVE. I've altered the map drastically. I tried to make it as fair as
possible regarding fta. First three teams get +3 cities, the last two teams get 4 infantry
