DuelStriker (02/17/2012 03:22pm):
Looks like a little mistake there with the MD tank and mech on GE's side. May want to un-clump some of the properties and spread them out a little, like in the middle so there's a little something there to fight over (since it's just forests and plains there right now) Also I'm guessing it's a team map? (If it's not, then GE and YC don't stand much of a chance). If it is teams, then OS has a significant advantage over BM and whichever country is BM's teammate because they get First Turn Advantage here. |

The MD problem's been sorted *blush*. Maybe stuff in the middle might be a good idea... but what should go there? Looking at it again, I do see how YC & GE could be considered lesser, how should I buff them? Should I add more properties; more units; have some of the cities start their color; or something else? Original thought was FFA but I see how other possibilities could work. Thanks for the feedback, I gotta start somewhere I guess *sweat drop*. Hope to get more feedback from you (and others) soon! |

Don't worry, I have seen far less playable first maps... I do think it would serve you well to read over some of the threads in the Design Maps section of the forum. I think you will see the issues that would stem from the map as it stands. My suggestion: keep toying with it after learning about FTA, etc., in the forums (and feel free to PM me any questions) until you figure out a decent balance ... then we'll be good to go. ^_^ |
