A map semi-based on this: http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=53960 Instead of choosing your bonus, you choose your enemy's. Lab units should be all air units. Ban stealths and black bombs. I've had this idea for quite a long time, but only recently thought of an elegant way for this to work. |

walkerboh01 (02/28/2012 02:29pm):
Why the ghost units? |
|
Headphone (02/28/2012 03:13pm | Edited: 02/28/2012 03:13pm):
No reason other than decoration. Well, I guess they show what each spot is for. |
|
airob (02/28/2012 04:04pm):
The least useful bonus is probably the base imo, i think everyone will let the base be captured rather than the tower or the lab. |
|
walkerboh01 (02/28/2012 11:37pm):
Agreed, the base is nearly useless. I would change it to a missile silo, but then that makes it even more like Stormiest Glen. =/ |
|
airob (02/29/2012 01:03am):
Probably if you remove one of the MTs, the center one, so they can have two bonuses? that way people might get inclined to various combinations, EG the base + the three cities combinations might be a a rather good and advisable choice because the extra funds might let some piperruners to actually be produced. |

Headphone (02/29/2012 01:58am | Edited: 02/29/2012 02:06am):
I have nothing against this being like stormiest glen. Made some changes. |

I would prefer connect the pipes all together so that player can build pipe runner particularly at the base adjacent to the pipe |

Roswell the Black Rose (03/01/2012 09:14am):
I don't think 1 city = 1 tower / lab / missile. If I were the player I'd let my opponent get the extra city anyway. 2 cities might be better imo. |

Headphone (03/03/2012 02:47am):
Yeah, this needs a lot of work. I'll get around to doing something someother time... |

DuelStriker (03/10/2012 02:16am):
Um wtf, this isn't toy-box guys |
|
hetchel (03/10/2012 01:32pm):
Interesting idea! I'm amazed at the amount of creativity people use to find ways to enhance gameplay in a game which isn't really designed to support customization. Hmmm here it's not only a choice between up and down. You can also choose to leave the MT where it is, to lock both cities directly adjacent to it. But then you'd face launchers from outside at some point, so not a very good choice. |

Actually DS, I think maps like this are what /should/ go in Toy Box. Maps with a really unique concept or gimmick that are still totally playable. |
|
walkerboh01 (03/28/2012 03:29am):
This is pretty cool, by the way. 8/10. |

Nyvelion (04/07/2013 08:17pm):
I don't see what this map has to do with Glen. Doesn't remind me of him at all. |

walkerboh01 (01/22/2015 02:16am):
I re-added this to New today so it could get some Z-Games played on it. |

Meta Rexy (02/05/2015 07:47pm):
This map is relatively limited because there is only one real front. Games can be very tight and anybody who plays defensively enough will have an advantage due to the limited space with which offensive players can work with. Still I like the concept of choosing your opponent's bonus. Especially if you counter pick against their CO choice. |
