Not bad for a first map. Though the center is kind of just one big chokepoint... It might be best to just make all the reef areas into land so it can be a little more open. (That, and also because the reefs right next to land tiles look a little ugly lolz). In addition, it might be nice to spread out the forests instead of just having the lines of forests (this will make the map more aesthetically pleasing). You might be able to curve the roads a bit more too. I'm not sure it really needs 2 comm towers per side, 1 is probably enough (and since the map is small, even 1 tower might be pushing the limit haha). Ports probably won't see much use either, but keeping them there might be good for late-game b-ships if someone is already gaining the upperhand. As for FTA counter, I'm not sure it really works that well. The best solution would probably be to just remove all the starting infantry and just leave one infantry on one of BM's bases for the FTA counter. And also, might want to make the starting cities neutral too, just to avoid any kind of fund imbalance because of high starting funds. Anyway, I do kind of like the map, and with the above fixes this could be even better. I like the idea on the side there with the anti-air units too, reminds me of the map Anti Sm. I'll wait to rate this until you can fix it up :) |

How is this not a bad map for a time map making? this map is horrible. Having 2 comtowers for OS side is just blatantly one sided match. Javier on OS side would own the game here. |
