Vaguely inspired by Melon Land, among others.

play this map while you're on sake, you're surely win the game
walkerboh01 (03/16/2012 03:58am):
If I'm correct, you intend the FTA counter infantry to capture the neutral base, right? I think
that's the way it should be to properly balance funding between the bases, but I think there's
no reason YC can't capture the neutral base from the opposite preowned base, meaning they
will still be able to capture it first. It hurts them very slightly in early funding, but I think it's
worth it. So you might want to make it less ambiguous which base can go for the neutral
base, in order to deal with that problem.

Otherwise the map looks really good. I like the lander, but wish you could drop two units off at
a time. Your fronts may be slightly overforested, but I would play on it first and see how you
like it before changing anything. Overall, I really like it -- assuming you fix the neutral base
thing.

Thought of a cool way to fix it. Will get on that pretty soon.

Changed stuff. Can drop off two units, changed neutral base stuff.
walkerboh01 (03/23/2012 11:55pm):
Very good, I approve. Now the only thing to be careful for is that the funding between the fronts
isn't imbalanced. The right preowned base (for GS) capture those 6 backwards properties, the
neutral base and surrounding properties, and some forward. Meanwhile, the left one has much
fewer that it's responsible for. This is a little harder to fix.
Mori2 (03/24/2012 12:21am | Edited: 03/24/2012 12:34am):
Not particularly. I'll get on fixing that.

Lots of edits to property distribution. Still not exactly what you asked for, but it's different now.
Walker Boh (03/26/2012 06:53am):
Ah, well I consider changing around the whole property distribution "a little harder to fix" haha. In
any case, it looks more balanced now.
Mori2 (05/09/2012 03:27am):
Has potential, needs tests.
walkerboh01 (05/31/2012 02:30am):
Probably has more forests than it needs considering that the entire center is a series of one tile-
wide choke points. I'll give a preliminary 7/10, though it could move up if it plays better than I
think it will.
