I like this one too. But the subs on the neutral bases seem kind of pointless, seeing as they can just be deleted and then the infantry can capture them, since the subs aren't on the opposing team's bases. |

Was still technically possible to recon rush them with the old base setup, the subs were there specifically so that opposing units could not simply block infantry capture and disrupt capture phase there. Will likely be removed soon. |

Better solution than the subs: put a bboat in the shoal area surrounding the base. A recon blocking the airport is not a problem at all, but a contested base would be. A bboat in the shoal could easily block the recon, and be useful for transporting/healing anyways. Like DS, I'm a fan of the map. Center area may be a little open, but it kind of depends how the front develops, which I'm having a hard time picturing exactly. I don't see anything that obviously will cause problems though. |

I always dislike the neutral base being so far away because it leads to awkward gameplay situations where normal capture phases lead to forced property trades. It's always prone to magnify minor imbalances or luck values. |
