There's a map out there very similar to this, but without airports. I couldn't find it so I just made a new version. Does anyone know the name of the map? |
walkerboh01 (03/22/2012 04:24am):
I didn't know what you meant when you described it on the forum (also you posted in the wrong thread for it =/). But now that I see your mockup, I recognize it immediately. It's called "A shadow's game" -- http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=23739 -- and it's an A-Ranked map. |

thanks. that's it alright. |
DuelStriker (03/22/2012 01:45pm):
This isn't bad. There may be too many mountains, especially along the top and bottom near the neutral bases and close to the HQs, but maybe not, it's hard to say. Traversing the center is gonna be a little annoying though. I might suggest taking out a pair of forests in the middle there. The only other problem I see is that right now there is STA because both sides only have 1 starting base. Your best bet would be just to make one of the neutral bases preowned for each side. |

As far as I'm concerned, this isn't a serious map attempt and shouldn't be treated as one. Maybe I'm wrong? |
airob (03/22/2012 04:29pm):
It probably is. As DS mentioned you should pre-own another neutral base. |
Madd Maxx (03/29/2012 01:32pm):
re: walkerboh01 - I love how internet makes people think they have license to be an assholle. Cowards. Please explain to me Airob and Duel why both teams should own a city? or do you mean factory? why? thanks in advance |
Madd Maxx (08/06/2012 02:29pm):
major changes. Use to be two small lakes. Now one big lake with islands. Fixed first turn advantage, too. |
Madd Maxx (04/20/2013 09:10am):
made more changes. Now in the middle there are 3 ghost seaports. Plus I added labs on the islands |
