2v2 map. Screwing around with that now. I'm not entirely pleased with the terrain choices and I'll probably add
moar non-plains stuff later, but I wanted to see if it's worthwhile first. I don't know how to counter FTA for
multiple players, either, but it is A/B/B/A turn order. Tried to toss in a lot of ideas for team stuff, though.

Also, that port is necessary I swear.

Orange/Purple vs Blue/Cobalt

EDIT: I moved the bases back; it did turn out to be a good idea. I also added a bit more variety in the terrain, but
I'd like to keep it somewhat open to promote all the units. With 23K per side, it'll be fun to see what happens
with that.

Also, try High Funds for a bad idea. :D

I'm not thrilled with the neutral base placements (probably a bit too far forward), but otherwise I
like it.

I'll keep that in mind and come back to it. I'm too tired to really work on it, but I'll definitely consider moving the
neutral bases around a bit. I think I see what you mean, especially for the outer ones.
walkerboh01 (04/24/2012 04:23am):
Right, it effectively makes the map considerably smaller and makes the forward bases
disproportionately more valuable than the backwards ones. If you bring them back to within
4-8 spaces of the preowned bases, it would be a lot better.

Another side effect of moving the bases back is that you give more options for unit
movement and make the fronts more interesting. This is generally true of making supply
times longer, although at some point they do get too long for fun games.

And FYI, if any of your maps goes uncategorized and disappears off the "10 Most Recently
Made Maps" page, and you make edits on it, you can always post it on the forum or send a
PM to any of the MC members. Then we can judge it again and recategorize as necessary.
This is also true if one of your maps gets buried in Good 2 Player and you make
improvements and you want them to get noticed. =)

I think the pipe would be much more useful if you made it vertical rather than horizontal
as it is.
