Hey there, I'm Walker, head of the site Map Committee. I think this is the first map I've seen you make, so I wanted to say hello, and welcome to AWBW! Part of my job around here is to help teach new mapmakers the map theory we've been developing over the years. So if you're at all interested in making competitively viable maps, feel free to send me a PM here on the site or on the forum and I can give you some tips. The Design Map section of the forums also has a lot of good information, and is a nice place to ask questions to the community as a whole. Comments in blue, like mine, are from members of the map committee, who are all fairly knowledgable in what makes a good map - these people are definitely worth listening to. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the site, and am looking forward to more maps from you in the future. |
