An old map I made in AWDS. I believe it's balanced, although it hasn't been tested much. Originally Orange star had several Ooziums at its command, but AWBW doesn't support them, so I replaced them with a megatank and lab. Each country has a unique and fun feel. |

That's the interesting thing about yellow comet: lots of money at first to build a fleet. Eventually they have to rescue an infantry to join the land war. |

Couldn't GE rush YC HQ really easily? Block up those ports, stick an infantry in an APC etc. |

Also what is the point of the BM carrier on this map? No air ports, and one pre deploy B- copter. Not trying to put you down; just speaking my mind. |

The BM carrier is there mostly to keep the GE B-copter from harassing in the northern region and stunting BM's and OS's growth. |

So, it's there for 1 single unit? They already have a cruiser, all it's going to be doing is vision in fog, and, that's, about it. Also, what did you have in mind for the Lab? What is it that Orange Star can make that no other country can? I'm a little worried about 5 com towers on the map and Blue Moon is pretty much going to get 3 of them. Though YC could make a battleship every other turn if they wanted. (17 starting funds that make funds) all they're going to be doing is making black boats to get to their infantry. While Orange Star can spam a lot of units, they're going to have a lot of trouble with Blue moon's (which, if it's not Javier, javier must have been banned) 130/130 units. The megatank isn't going to be doing much except protecting that lab (but only if there's some important lab unit) Honestly I see this being a battle between Blue Moon and Yellow Comet, and Green Earth and orange star are the unfortunate cartoon characters in the way of two steamrollers. Green earth is going to be lucky to get more than 10 property, and Orange star isn't much luckier, with about 11 if he's lucky. Blue Moon can start Landing units almost immediately, and they'll be a lot stronger and easier at landing to important locations. Blue Moon and Yellow Comet are just going to keep getting more and more funds, I just can't see anything stopping those two. You've got a real high amount of production facilities, 18 bases and 17 ports is rather high. I understand using ports as a way for sea units to get through areas that land units can too, but most of them are sticking outside of questionable land bridges. but there's one port that's really only useful for blackboats or landers, there's really no option for anything else from it. (it's by OS) That's not to say most of the sea units will be used for anything else. (and the occasional cruiser and sub, maybe a battleship if someone isn't sure what to be doing or is YC in the early game, and REALLY doesn't know what to do.) |
