Very small, not enough properties to do much besides make infantry and mechs, poorly countered FTA (the BH infantry should be on its base), and a single chokepoint front bogged down by forests. I suggest remaking the map twice as big, giving at least 13k per side, and setting up at least 2 fronts not filled with forests. |

Yeah, because it is better to waste more time on a bigger map with at least 3 main routes and pile up units there, thus quadrupling the time it takes to finish a map. And what's with this obsession with symmetry and placing infantries on bases? It gets old really fast. It is enough that the black infantry on this map hinders the first player, thus giving the second player an unusual chance to even the first turns. |

Because a really small map with only one front and absolutely no properties to fight over makes everything so much more fun right? Especially when there's a giant wall of forests right in the center that will almost indefinitely cause a stalemate, SOUNDS LIKE FUN DOESN'T IT I honestly don't understand what you're trying to say here. Bigger maps don't even take that long to play on, really it's around about 15 days or so, which isn't long at all. More fronts offer more variety for gameplay. Symmetry is most often used because it is in fact, whether you want to believe or not, KNOWN that asymmetrical maps have balance issues which are hard to fix. Symmetry does not "get old very fast" at all. Look up Mori's maps, and you'll definitely see some incredible maps with great concepts, new concepts and new designs in fact, on maps that use symmetry no less. As for your FTA counter here, what exactly are you thinking it will do way up there in the corner? Ok, it can capture the comm tower first, but that comm tower doesn't guarantee automatic balance, especially since the comm tower won't matter much at all in the (extremely short) capture phase. The worst it can do is harass a BM infantry on that city MAYBE. But it's still incredibly weak where it is. If you don't want to change it, that's fine. I'm not going to force you to follow our guidelines for improving your maps. You can believe what you want. I think you should consider what I said in the upper half of this comment though. |

You should cool of before you get a heart attack bro. I love your "bigger size=less playtime" logic here, it really gives hindsight to what your IQ is, but never mind that, I am not to insult other users. You've already taken that role, so who am I to mimic you or anybody for that matter? Talking about mimic, why are you so violent about forcing what your so called guidelines say onto me and who is this Mori anyway? He/She has nothing to do with this about to be fight you want to start so badly. I guess your own work(s) are not qualified enough to try to prove your point so you're deliberately using what is due to someone else's hard work, which by the way worsens your position, suggesting you should've kept your rather impolite opinion to yourself. Nonetheless, do write back something undermining me in any way, since I can presume without any doubt that is what you are compelled to do. |

It wasn't really an insult to you (I certainly wasn't trying to anyway), I wasn't trying to start an argument, I was just trying to make a point honestly. I said that games on larger maps take about an average of 15 (game) days, I'm not sure if you thought I meant real-time days or anything. Certainly games can last quite a while in real-time days, regardless of map size. But see, now you're the one who's going off with the personal attacks on me. Mori is a well respected member around here, and a highly respected map maker, who I was just using as an example. I can go and point out numerous map makers as more examples. The point I was making was about symmetrical maps and how many different concepts, designs, setups etc. there are out there, since you said symmetry was boring or "gets old fast", and I was using Mori's maps as an example to try and show you that it certainly is not boring. Furthermore, I even pointed out that I'm not trying to force anything on you. Only trying to explain a few things. No one is going to make you follow or listen to our advice... |

Still. Why are you including other's who have nothing to do with this? You see, I merely want to test out my own maps made using my own style (which is still under development). As long as I get people to play with, I don't see any problem. Let us leave it at that, shall we. |
