This map's got some potential. I always enjoy HQ setups like these. So the first thing I would do on this map is drastically reduce the number of bases; 6 per side is just going to result in a ludicrous amount of infantry spam. I would have 3 at most on this map. The second thing I would change is to alter the symmetry situation. Right now you have both top-bottom and left-right symmetry, which just generally results in less interesting maps because of all the repetition. By and large the best type of symmetry to use it rotational symmetry. So for example, if you were to place a forest to the right of that top left airport, you'd also place one to the left of the bottom right airport. But, you wouldn't for the bottom left and top right airports. Probably not the best way to explain it, but I can explain more/provide examples if you wish, most of my maps use rotational symmetry. Third thing I would do is widen up the land fronts, and also add more cities. Right now it's a fairly low income map, which means that the airports and ports will see little use. And the small choky land fronts will just promote stalematey indirect buildups which aren't any fun.
