FTA but looks good otherwise imo |

Only thing I don't like is that there's one neutral base and it's not fairly placed. |

I wonder who voted 1. |

A coward. We've had this problem since 2005. People who come in, rate 1, and leave without commenting. If I could (and I definitely haven't tried), I'd hack the MYSQL table used for storing map comments, not to mess with anything, but to run a search on people who rate maps with 1 without commenting. These people need to be called out on. You shouldn't be allowed to rate a map you haven't commented on. If you have an opinion you can state it. Otherwise gtfo. Though right now there's no reason to believe that will happen. Nothing we can do about the 1 rating trolls. |

I tried to place the base an equal distance away from where infantry would get to it but I realize it's probably still not really perfect. I also would have fixed FTA but since I've completely forgotten turn order amongst custom countries I never bothered fixing it. |

Here's the turn order: http://awbw.amarriner.com/countries.php As far as the neutral base, regardless of how equidistant it is from anyone/everyone, the fact that there is 1 neutral base for 5 armies is a fundamental problem. No matter how you fix FTA/location etc, someone will always have the "first chance" at the single most important neutral property on the map. Whoever gets it will gain a huge advantage (I predict TG or PL because they can line up an arty in the forest over the mountain and lock it) Other than that the map is pretty good I think. |
