Hey all. This is a map I made, and the idea I had in the start was I wanted large-scale naval
battles to take place. The Coral Reefs in the center serve to make an effective choke point to
fight for the lab in the center. The Pre-deployed Battleships serve to slow down the arms
race and give time to capture the huge amounts of other properties on the board. The locked
port on your starting island is to serve only as a lander-producer, and the main base I thought
should be on the "fish" islands (the ones with the battleships).

Any feedback is appreciated.

At 35K per side, i would consider adding a couple cities in the central island. Should
make the naval units go round and round! while keeping the focus on the side isles. add a
bit more outer shoals on the isles, probably 1 or 2 more. They need to be hard to defend too.

My thought process to keeping the centre lab Eyesolated (:D) was that it is going to be fought over
regardless, as Battleships are a must in any relevant naval battle, and they are VERY relevant here.

And since only one team can make them at a time, that right is going to be one to fight over, cities
close-by, or not.

Alright, i just felt it a bit plain and would like some land units recovering some small
damage at least over there.

there is a big detail that i lost track of though and itīs the labbing of Bships. They are
the main combat naval unit as you said, dont you think it will lose all feel of a naval
battle by letting just one army built those? itīs basically now a heavy fight for the
center. I dont know, i would lab cruisers (so youīre forced to build subs to counter other
subs) or Bboats or something like that, but i really dont know how the labbing of bships
is going to turn out. If either good or very, very bad.

There has to be an incentive to set foot on that death-trap of an island, now, isn't there? :P

Also in my test matches matches, the lab was under control of one army for only a couple
days at a time, it's really hard to control that island for extended periods of time, even with B-
ship lock (which is further mitigated with limited access to said B-ships).

But I guess this map may be snowbally (momentum based), but only in the right situations
(where the match was a curbstomp anyway), and the guy used his B-ships to overrun his
poor opponent, but the funds aren't that high, so you can't really get more than 1 B-ship out
per day, while you have the intel to do so.

Oh and also, cruisers cost money :P (to counter Subs which counter your B-ships).
