Back to map making after a long hiatus. I enjoyed the style of my previous river based maps, so I took that design and rolled with it. |

I like the layout a lot, but I don't think this map needs four bases. Three would be great, but a bigger issue is how easy it is to recon rush and deny early base capture. I'd recommend maybe removing a single base from each side, and definitely consider getting rid of some of the roads to make recon rushing more difficult. Good layout though. |

Of course mori suggests 3 bases :P But I agree, 3 bases is enough for this map and with all the roads, putting them close to the center wouldn't be too good so I think I like them as they are. One thing I would do is add something worth fighting over; there's nothing in between the two armies but some scattered cities. Maybe add a tower for each side that's contested but not too easy to rush and steal at the beginning. Another option might be an airport for each side with similar type placement, but maybe closer to the corners so they don't disrupt the battle in the center too much. Just some suggestions. |

The layout is probably fine. I wouldn't move the base back that far, but of course it's not my map, I can only make suggestions and stuff. I recommended the 3 base layout since the map has some really interesting design in chokey and wide areas, and 4 bases worth of infantry and no airports would probably not do the layout justice. You have some good stuff here, hope you make more in the future. |

looks good but too bad there's no com tower, also I'd prefer add airport to break the stalemate in the mid/end game. |

Hmm, the HQs are a little too easy to defend in my opinion, seeing that they are located 4-5 squares of two bases. I would like to see them a bit more exposed to allow for capture threats. Otherwise, I think it looks really good, considering it is a road-heavy map. Go Koal~ ^_~ |

I'd be tempted to put the BM infantry on the other base. Its not really a big deal, but the top left airport is slightly closer to OS and the infantry makes it too easy to rush I think. At least if it's switched BM starts closer to the airport I would expect them to get anyway. Like I said, not really a big deal and other than that I like it, its a good change. |
