Teams (ABBA) or possibly Free for all, I don't really know if that would work.

You should probably ban Grit, he causes a lot of grief here. Other than that ban who or
what you don't like and enjoy.

Ugly sea tiles in center are ugly.

Oh hey messed up the symmetry a bit. changing it now... done
Xmo5 (02/06/2013 08:05pm):
Much better now that the symmetry is fixed. I like the concept, but it looks kinda empty. Spread out
some of the terrain and properties so there is more variety, less clumping and important ground to
fight over in contested areas.

Maybe put a contested property midway along the 4 sides (a little out from the edge by the bends
in those rivers for example) It would draw conflict more towards the outside and really make
things interesting. If you put a tower/lab on top/bottom and a tower/lab on left/right (or tower L/R
and lab T/B or something) it means that each team can get a tower and/or lab but each individual
property could be fought over by opposing teams. On the L/R the properties could be fought over
by all 4 players in FFA.

Looking at GE, in team play, they could fight for the top property against RF and then fight for the
L/R properties *with* PL against both BD and RF. That reinforces having cooperative team battles
and individual battles on the map. In FFA GE could access all sides but the bottom. On the top
would be 1 on 1 vs RF and on the R/L would be 4 player FFA. The same would be true for
everyone (BD and PL would be bottom instead of top obviously) Usually I dont like central
labs/towers but in this case it would add a nice dynamic I think.

Added a bunch more cities (keep forgetting there is no max props on AWBW) and added a
central com tower on the left and right side. Fixed the river (minor graphical thing I
missed) and that's about it. I always have lots of clumping. :)
