Center is designed to grant transports free movement while restricting other sea vessels. |

I'd ban battleships as well, it seems like a battleship could shut down pretty much any base/hq capture. |

Good point, I'll add that in the original post. Edit: No longer relevant. |

I don't think battleships are any more of a problem than on any other map where ports would be on, but then I noticed there's no airports so yeah. I think a better solution would be to add an airport for each side, rather than ban battleships. In other news, the terraining is super cool here, sort of a bit like Haipah Biim, but I question whether the base layout couldn't be a bit different given the terrain. http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=27472 In that example, the bases are fairly close to some chokepoints, which makes it more interesting than if the chokepoints are dead center where the fights will happen, which is almost what we have here. I think shifting the preowned OS bases a bit further down, and shifting the BM bases a bit further up, could create a more interesting set of fronts. Ideally you'd want a lot of the combat to happen in and around the area to the right of the bottom center bridges, or the left of the top center bridges. It's even better when it's only a single base defending that front, since it would then expand outward past the chokepoint of the bridge, capture territory, then would be forced to fall back to the center bridge chokepoint, thus forcing the double base setup fighting it to move into the center of the map to go around. If you would end up doing this, I'd again suggest airports, they help these kinds of maps a lot. As always these are just suggestions, but I tend to give out more suggestions when I think the map has a lot of potential haha. |

I appreciate all the suggestions. What do you think about the new layout? |

Hmm. You know, I was going to suggest something else entirely, but I like this. This is cool. |
