Literally just decided I wanted to make a map and thought of it on the fly. It turned out a lot better than I expected but I didn't really do a lot of planning in terms of how it would play out. How do you guys think it looks? This is weird for me, certainly not my typical style at all. I don't make "real" maps. All the more reason to tell me what you think so I can make it better. Thanks! |

Not bad at all. Will throw games on it at some point today or tomorrow when the I start the next M. Games cycle. |

Okay, thanks! I think I've started to get a feel for how to make maps like this but its just so different from what I usually do that I can never tell for sure until someone who knows what they're talking about lets me know its not half bad lol. I mean I don't usually see too many problems with them, but I just assume thats me missing something or not having the insight from experience playing on/making them to know what the problems are lol. |

I think the city right in the center of the map is a little awkward, personally. It puts a lot of emphasis into the center of the map as opposed to the sides. Having that just be a plain or something would probably be better overall. |

Okay, I see what you mean. I put it there because I thought it looked weird without having something to break up that section of plains. Maybe I'll but a used silo there or something just for aesthetics. EDIT: Fixed. Let me know if you think that is too defensible or something. |

Seems likely to be prone to stalemates. The main problem is the no man's land between cities, dotted with heavy terrain and river/mountain tiles that make defensive positions very easy to hold. There is no incentive to push forward in terms of cities to capture, and the towers are too well protected by the base to be a realistic target in an even match. I wish the center base had more options for deployment instead of being mostly relegated to infantry spam. Forward airport positions are interesting since the neutral base can counter very quickly. |
