This is very good. Very, very good. |
blozzee (07/02/2013 02:13am | Edited: 07/02/2013 02:14am):
I would prefer leave one base as natural instead. |
Walker Boh (07/03/2013 02:24am):
I'd just plain move the forward base back with the other two. |
xushu (07/03/2013 01:52pm):
I like the looks of this one... four towers are a touch much, though. I agree with walker about the base move. I bet if you paired the bases so that they were both near the enemy HQ, it would make things very intense. |
armogo (07/03/2013 04:18pm):
10/10 good sir! |
Bamboozle (07/03/2013 05:23pm | Edited: 07/03/2013 07:10pm):
Do you mean pairing the two bases on the same country or the two bases on the curly part? I'll move the middle base back a bit @ walker Moved back and made them neutral Removed a tower from each side |
airob (07/03/2013 07:50pm):
I think what they meant is to put two enemy bases behind the enemy HQ (So, moving the central bases towards the other base near the enemy HQ) so central AB base goes left and central CI base goes right. By the way, i like them three pre-owned, but thatīs up to you. Then again, if you are making one neutral, remove the city FTA counter. |
Walker Boh (07/03/2013 08:15pm):
It's better for balance if you have one base neutral, though I'd prefer it to be the central base, not the outer one. By the way, this map is very cool visually, grats on that. |

Edited, tell me if something's amiss |
blozzee (07/05/2013 12:34am | Edited: 07/05/2013 12:35am):
That infantry is at the wrong base. It should be on the other side so that CI can get the natural base first. |
Bamboozle (07/05/2013 12:52am):
Switched :) I'm running a few test games if anyone wants to join. |
airob (07/05/2013 10:55pm):
Are there unnatural bases? o_o |
GhostCalib3r (07/18/2013 03:14pm):
First good map I've seen from you, Bam. 9/10. |
blozzee (01/02/2014 05:20am | Edited: 01/02/2014 05:22am):
Overall, there's something really off in this map. Majorly because of all three fronts are somewhat chokey especially when played in the mid game. The stalemate turn out really bad which later on the only way to break it is to rely with air unit. Whoever lose their front defense first will lose the game and there's no way recover back with defensive play. btw, I give this map a 7/10. |
walkerboh01 (02/07/2015 02:53am | Edited: 02/07/2015 02:53am):
I feel like this map would be better off as an east/west battle rather than north/south. The area around where the tower is now is the best place for a front, and it would also create a diagonal front in the center (which creates more interesting positioning decisions and makes it less choky without actually changing anything). Obviously you'd have to change around quite a lot of the property distribution and terrain, but with the current shape of the map, that's the change I think fits best. Edit: I also gave 7/10 for now. |
Bamboozle (03/06/2015 11:23pm):
Gave it a total redesign. Gameplay should be a lot different now (and hopefully a lot better). |
Balteus (12/24/2024 09:33pm):
I love this map. The lander is extremely useful. But my opponent and I didn't ever invest in black boats just to get one airport, because we were spending all our funds to fight. Maybe if a black boat could do more after getting an infantry over there. Anyone else's games play out like that? That also makes the HQ have almost no threat to it if you don't jump through all those hoops. |
