More woods! its FOW of hell! |

UPDATE: Swapped positions of OS and YC, and eliminated FTA with infantry. Switched nearby bases to cities, added passes to get AA to the airports, moved com towers farther away (and added a pipe between them), placed foot soldier bases in the mountains, broke center loop with two forests, and placed clearings symmetrically. Should be much more fun to play on! |

It's not bad...FOW would be great as I love being stealthy, but it's way too cramped...I give it a 6/10 |

After one game here are my thoughts on the map: There are way too many forests, which makes it difficult to defend the comm tower fronts with anything other than infantry or helicopters. This is aggravated by limiting the mountain base's usefulness to only infantry or mechs. Contested bases in the center of maps are pretty much always a bad idea. There are too many chokepoints created by the mountains, forests, rivers, and pipes. The capture phase is pretty bland given the low building count. If you are going to play on this map you need to set the income to either 1500 or 2000. There are simply not enough buildings to fund 3 bases and an airport with income at 1000. |

Thanks! I will make some drastic changes as soon as the two current games end. I'm going to cut down on the forests around the comm towers, replace the middle bases with cities, and add more cities along the roads. I think I'll also move the mountain bases a little further from the towers. This should add about 8 more cities per team. Also, I'll have to move the pipe bases further apart to eliminate rocket spawnblocking, but I will add pipes between so runners will be usable still. And make sure to always ban Javier! |
