Hi guys, its been a little while, but I've made another map! This is it! This one! ^^ Right up there. Yup, you (probably) found it. If not, it (probably) bit you... injecting a highly potent neurotoxin into your blood vessels, quickly debilitating and, shortly thereafter, killing you. There is no hope for you now. ... I really gotta send this thing to obedience school, that happens far to frequently. See the problem isn't that it's a bad map, it just doesn't realize the power of its own venom. The mechanism by which it works is actually quite fascinating because it- ...Oh, I'm supposed to be talking about the map?? I thought I was talking about the map. The design and characteristics I had in mind when I made it? Who wants to hear that? Well, I guess if you insist... its venom is more interesting though... Bottom line here guys is that his is meant for 2 v 2 action; top vs bottom. One team member gets a lab and an extra base, the other gets an airport and both have somewhat contested towers. It is fairly chokey in the middle, but I'm hoping the airport positioning will help to open things up. I tried to keep them close to the fronts, but far enough away they wouldn't be locked. Stealth should be banned due to 1 airport/stealth locking. You can really have some fun with the lab units here I think because only teammate gets them. Since they don't get air units, they can have a more beefed up/versatile ground force this way- pick what you want, Recons (FoW), heavy tanks, rockets, missiles, etc. Obviously ban the broken 5 plus Sturm for terrain and possibly Javier, especially if your partner donates their tower. Anyone else obvious I'm missing? Let me know what you guys think and please point out any symmetry or balance issues!! Thanks! :) |
