What was originally written here is obsolete, see latest comments for info on this map.
peteurashima (01/05/2006 09:35pm):
way too cluttered...
Nahbien (01/05/2006 09:39pm):
Little too chokepointy, although I like the concept. (mostly just a forest issue). The
only real issue I see is that with those central bases, it'll be hard to advance, and
really almost no reason to, since there aren't much property to fight over until you get
farther into your opponents territory. Not rating at this time, since the map has
potential to improve :)

Here's the first update. I took out some forests and moved the bases back towards the
mountain ranges.
Nahbien (01/06/2006 10:01pm):
I like the revisions. 9/10

Minor port changes made to accomodate black boats.

This map takes way too long to play a game on. I had a game where i was clearly better and it took me 43 days to
beat my opponent back to his HQ simply because it took me that long to get my forces to his side in enough force
to beat back his (poor) defenses. Bases are too far from the fronts, the terrain is very heavy, and an airport would
do a lot on this map. 7/10
MorganLeah (02/11/2011 08:33pm | Edited: 02/11/2011 08:34pm):
With the exception of an airport, I believe most of these issues have been taken care of
with my recent update. I'll need to do some playtesting to see.

Changes made: moved some bases, added properties, altered starting property, greatly
opened central front, and widened most of the side areas of the mainland.
walkerboh01 (02/13/2011 11:15am):
It will obviously need quite a bit of play-testing to check the balance, but it looks okay at first
glance. My only suggestion is to add one or two infantry for each side at the start so the base
capture part of the game goes by quicker. Also maybe get rid of the missile on the central island,
because that may cause some FTA issues.
