First, I'd like to say that just because this map has "Pirate" in the name is no excuse to
talk like I pirate in the comments. That's discriminatory towards pirates and I'll have
none of that. This message brought to you by the International Organization of Pirates'
Rights (OIDP)

So this is meant to be a heavy naval 2v2 with Blue vs Yellow. The idea is that the top
right/bottom left teams get a strong navy plus a small land battle for their tower and a
little extra funding. Meanwhile, the other players have 1 less port, 1 less ghost port, no
tower, and no extra base all in exchange for 2 each of airports and ghost airports. I
intentionally set the airports back and off of the starting island to prevent early
t-copter raids; the ghost airports are meant to make up for the map size.

Funds work out to about 27k per player plus 5k in the middle which is a bit up in the
air. For a more intense naval battle, you might want to set the funds to 1.5k. That way
you ensure about 1.5-2 naval/air units per turn per player. Seeing as there aren't many
other outlets for spending money, it might get boring on a map this large with 1-1.5 units
per turn on the main fronts, especially with long supply lines. Plus if you want to see
any carriers to attack enemy air units and support your own air units, you'll need that
funding.

Recommended Unit Bans- Nothing really recommended, personal choice. ...Whats that? ...No,
don't ban subs.... Or footsoldiers... Do you even know how to play? ... No you can't ban
transports! Stop with these horrible suggestions!

CO bans- Broken 5, Drake, Sasha, Damage COs. If you ban carriers, might be good to ban
Eagle too or CI/AB can spam heavy air and SCOP frequently on a high funds map like this.
Oh, and Javier for tower whiners.

... ...*checks to make sure OIDP isn't watching* ...Yar matey!

This is pretty awesome.

It'll be interesting to see what OS does when they have no access to bases.
Madd Maxx (10/27/2013 12:37am):
Arr...ific, matey! 10/10 Photogenic. Navy and air incorperated. Love it. arr...you smell that?
Xmo5 (10/28/2013 08:57am):
Yeah, I think I did make OS a little underpowered, but I tried to compensate by starting
all of their units on production facilities. I also tried to limit their weaknesses by not
giving them an HQ, I hope it works.

Thanks guys! :)
