The idea is you're fighting two other people at the start, and if you finish them off you can
help yourself in the adjacent battle.
This is totally fair. I think. Second player to go in a square always gets the FTA counter, and
you play in every position possible on the map. E.g. OS plays in the inner and outer corners in
the corner squares, and in the middle and outer corners in the central squares.
Bombarding the people you share corners with allows you to defeat them more easily there,
but distracts power from the square you're bombarding from.
Fog recommended.
Ban the broken COs, Sturm, Sensei, Grit and Sami.
If you guys spot any symmetry issues, feel free to shoot (a comment at) me :P

The only thing I can see that jumps out right away is that GE only has 1 battle where they
are paired up on the opposite side of a pipe from an opponent. YC has 2 (Top right, bottom
middle) OS has the same pairs, and BM has middle right and middle left. There should be
some way to arrange them so that doesn't happen, right? Notice that YC on the top right
has BM bordering below them and OS to the left while the other pairs are "1-on-1"
matchups. Also, try to keep track of how often players border against each other like that
when they are also fighting in the adjacent square. For example, YC in the top right has
motivation to snipe OS to the left because that is also their fight. BM and YC have no
reason for conflict in that same corner because YC is not in the fight below and BM is not
in the fight above.

I thought something looked funny about this... Thanks for the sanity check. I'll look into fixing it
now.

Edit: I found a solution, but it turns the map into a (1v1)v(1v1), so OS and BM fight while YC and
GE fight, then the winners fight each other.

I think thats probably because you have 8 battles. With 4 players you need an integer
multiple of 6 battles to get all the combinations to be even. OS/BM, OS/GE, OS/YC, BM/GE,
BM/YC, GE/YC. Otherwise some battles end up repeats. You have OS/BM, OS/YC, BM/GE, and
GE/YC all doubled so OS never fights GE and BM never fights YC. I think that makes the
corner thing really hard to work out.
Cpt_Klutzershy (11/04/2013 05:22pm):
Bah. Maths probably comes into this somewhere xD The problem also lies in the fact that the
inner corners in the big corners can only bombard two other factions, I think. I'll make this a 1v1 v
1v1 for now, and try out a new concept I just came up with in paint :p

Interesting concept. I like it so far.
