no air, pointless ports (rivers are not sea)

plains are boring - not interesting enough

poor use of pipes, why the seam? why no runners?

have a great day, look forward to the next revision

This actually isn't half bad, especially considering some of the other recent maps I've
seen. I think a couple of things could be done to make this map much better, however.
First, I agree with mirddes on the ports, but only because it makes it too easy to build a
sub and leave it there so nobody can enter from that side. I would also make some of the
starting cities neutral and give each player a second starting base (and BM an FTA
counter). Also, mix up the forests/mountains a bit, I think they look too linear. I like
the pipes though, they give a good aesthetic, and if you had air units, they would serve a
more important functional purpose as well.

Finally, and probably most importantly, I would add properties in the top left/bottom
right corners to give the players something to fight over. Add some cities and throw in a
tower, or even an airport. The key with towers/airports here would be to make them close
enough to one of the players that they can be sure to capture it first, but far enough
away that they have to defend it well. If the enemy pushes them back a little, that
property becomes their "prize" in a sense, and gives them an advantage. Currently, it's
too easy to hole up and never move- nothing on the battlefront to draw anyone too far from
home.
