Dreadnought (01/17/2014 11:21pm):
I attempted to make this map balanced though, it may not look it. Ports provide land and sea bridges and ghost units prevent over crowding of ports. Any tips and or suggestions to make this map better would be appreciated. |

A road or two would be nice so that wheeled units aren't so hard to move. But where to put them? |

I'm guessing that I could find a place. I'll add them after this first game is done, thanks for the help |

First, the countries in the diagonals have a much stronger defensive setup - not good for FFA, but could be fine with proper team setup. Second, those neutral bases are far too close to each other. |

It is because on certain segments the diagonal countries can hold the line so to speak with two units instead of three correct? And now that I look at it the bases should be moved further back, I think two move spaces should handle it. The ports might be an issue too with the cardinal directions countries being able to be invaded in two squares, I'll be sure to address these issues after the current game is done. |

I can't believe a game is being played on this map. Maybe I should try to improve it. |

Indeed. The concept is interesting. It looks like a battle to the centre, but really? I personally suggest adding reefs as shelters for ships. If there are more forests, the fog of war will be more interesting as well. |
