Suggestions?
Red11 (03/20/2014 09:00pm):
yc + one base.

I like it, ive seen the genre before, tight multi-player, they make for lively games. maybe add
silos.
matt208 (03/20/2014 09:34pm):
grit would annihilate this map
BountyFrog (03/20/2014 11:05pm | Edited: 03/20/2014 11:05pm):
Ohh.. right. (YC)
BountyFrog (03/20/2014 11:06pm | Edited: 03/20/2014 11:07pm):
Better?
Edit: I also added silos. Maybe too many...
Red11 (03/21/2014 12:37am):
the corner posies are obvious. better
Red11 (03/21/2014 12:38am):
the edge posies should get a fta inf. in the centre base at the v.least.
BountyFrog (03/21/2014 02:14pm):
I tried cities instead of an inf.
BountyFrog (03/21/2014 07:37pm):
Btw, do you know how to put a map into a category?
Nyvelion (03/21/2014 09:45pm):
Well, if you have one of a certain small list of names, your map is automatically put into
the A or S Rank map categories, even before anyone actually plays on the map. Other than
that I'm not sure, it's pretty inconsistent.
BountyFrog (03/21/2014 09:53pm):
Oh, thanks!
Xmo5 (03/26/2014 04:25pm):
lol yeah if you could put your own map into a category that power would have been abused
lonnggg ago. I`m imagining grizlysword and amigo in the S ranks and it makes me shudder...
Of course that`s not to say that there isn`t truth to what Nyv said, I just think it beats
the alternative.
BountyFrog (03/26/2014 04:55pm):
I think you should be able to say, submit a map into a sub-categorey where the map committee checks if they
think that map should be in that categorey, but I also know that the map committee has at most five members
each day. So, yeah.
usmchayward (08/12/2015 08:57am):
How does the game end? How do you capture the enemy HQ?
Xmo5 (08/12/2015 12:40pm):
Actually, at the time you wrote that, the MC had at most 2-3 active members each week (not
day). There have been some new recruits recently (myself included), along with the return
of Walker, the previous head of the MC before Mori (who still holds the title). The 6
current "active" members are usually around to varying degrees, but most of us check in
regularly. That said, we're all very busy with MC work, which is surprisingly
time-consuming and lying around in surplus.

With respect to your suggestion, I'm not sure how well that would work. More than likely,
the MC would be overwhelmed with requests to put maps in categories, and odds are that
most of the requests would be for maps that were hardly worth a second look. The criteria
for placing maps in categories are standardized so we all know what we're looking for, and
generally it tailors to Global League style play. It's rare that unique maps will be
strong enough in the balance and quality gameplay departments to be put in a category, yet
strange or different enough to be excluded from GL consideration. A major example to the
contrary is mulitplayer maps, but we generally look for the same qualities there as we do
in GL, just scaled up to 3+ players.

As far as ending the game, you'd have to do it by rout here, not by HQ capture. In other
words, you could only win via surrender or destroying all of your opponents' units.
BountyFrog (08/19/2015 10:25am):
I see.... Maybe you could get more mc people? Or make a group of people that are like sub-mc and their only
job would be to categorize the user submitted maps.
