I would recommend adding 2 more cities (1 each side) in the bottom section to draw
units/combat away from the smaller chokepoint up top. Also, with the bases/HQs that close,
I would make the two pre-owned cities that each player starts with into neutral cities.
The map is already pretty small so theres no real need to speed things up by starting them
with extra funds.

It may be worth moving one of each players bases further down, maybe to where the
pre-owned city is now. As I mentioned earlier, you really want to make sure you draw some
units that way or the battle will never progress. I guess however you want to do that is
up to you, but these are just some suggestions.

I agree with the cities in the center being neutral, I might change that now. I think the stage itself
is already littered enough with cities. If there were too many, the game would become a tank
mashup. I built this one with Rockets and Artillery in mind and so that the map would be equally
as entertaining in fog and free view but be fast enough to finish in 10 or so turns.

Also needs an FTA counter (a blue infantry on one of the bases)

I never believed in FTA despite usually going last.
Nyvelion (06/26/2014 06:33am):
I'd criticize you, but there is even more proof for climate change than FTA and people
still deny that. At least 95% of experts agree on IS-created FTA though.
MorganLeah (06/26/2014 10:23pm):
I'd link you to the definitive FTA thread that, among other things, mathematically proved
it, but it was on the old forum, and it is probably lost forever.
Original Maincharacter (06/27/2014 05:18am):
Mathematical proof is understandable, it just feels silly to me and gives people with a lack of
strategy an excuse to overanalyze the game.

Well, here:
