excomotive got it right. no expansion, because the whole point is to start with real-world boundaries. there is some
space for expansion in eastern europe, iraq, caucases, africa.

I know this map aims for geographical accuracy, but having so many mountains between Russia and Iran makes it almost impossible to fight.
This map is going to stalemate really really hard until the air units arrive.
Russia is way too strong with all those missiles. They should at least be blocked by pipe seams and severely reduced, because if Russia were to launch its nuclear missiles into the middle east there would be severe consequences and penalties for it.
Without the U.S. being represented here, there is no chance that Russia will get any negative consequences for using its missile silos.
In the interest of balance, Saudi Arabia has a proportionally gigantic front vs the others. I know there's desert there, but we don't have anything except forests to slow ground units down in that area. And of course for a desert forests would be weird.
