jen_scrivener (08/15/2014 07:01pm):
start the game

Nyvelion (08/16/2014 02:40pm):
Which side represents jen?
Nyvelion (08/17/2014 04:40pm | Edited: 08/17/2014 04:40pm):
I hope jen makes better maps than isaac, and that isaac is more patient than jen.
Xmo5 (08/18/2014 11:03am):
Well she certainly wins better than Isaac. Though, he was Adder and she was Hachi and BM
on this map so that doesn't mean much.
Nyvelion (08/20/2014 11:33am):
This map needs more of a backstory. How can I be emotionally invested into this map if I
know nothing about the two main characters, Jen and Isacc, or the motivation for their
opposition?
All we know now is, Isacc's job was to arrange the battle, Jen was eager for it to start,
and that when it did Isacc seems to have lost on purpose or really didn't know what he was
doing.
I can't even write a good short story with just those details without filling in so many
blanks that the original meaning will have been lost! There's only one 3 word quote
available, that's not enough to build up 2 interesting characters!
I demand more detail! This is insufficient!
Xmo5 (08/21/2014 06:36am):
Seconded!
Nyvelion (08/01/2016 08:11am):
Although, somehow I don't think "Flayme" and "Scrivener" are their real last names, they
both sound silly.
Xmo5 (08/08/2016 10:33am):
Flayme is one of those last names where you have to be an epic superhero or supervillain
for it to work. Otherwise it seems out of place.
Nyvelion (08/08/2016 12:46pm):
If Isaac had flame powers, it still probably wouldn't help him make a better map than this.
Xmo5 (08/08/2016 01:20pm):
Not one bit. Usually that just leaves you with a lot of melty plasticy stuff on your desk
that ceases to function as your keyboard and mouse fairly early on in the melting process.
Not useful for map design.
Nyvelion (10/24/2016 02:00pm):
Apparently "Scrivener" is a real last name.
I guess it's like Miller in that the ancestors for any Miller probably milled things, so
maybe Jen's ancestors Scrivened things.
Xmo5 (10/24/2016 10:04pm):
How does one "not exist" things? That sounds complicated; hard to master and easy for things to go disastrously
wrong. Maybe that's why so few are still around.
Tmi489 (03/17/2017 03:15pm):
I'm going to flamye things though, yeah!
Xmo5 (03/20/2017 04:49pm):
That admittedly sounds pretty cool.
