Very cool! I definitely like how the islands are designed with one base a piece. 10/10
Nyvelion (08/25/2014 08:48am):
What are the odds that the map name has anything to do with that damned first google
result for "AWBW" that has been ahead of this awbw 95% of the time since 2006.
Xmo5 (08/25/2014 12:27pm):
I actually completely forgot about that until you just brought it up.
Bamboozle (08/25/2014 12:30pm):
Wow lol. I named this after a nujabes song, didn't notice there was another
similar context.
MorganLeah (08/25/2014 01:06pm | Edited: 08/25/2014 01:07pm):
I assumed that the map was so named because the top and bottom are (initially) occupied by
one country each, and that's each a "world" and then there's the middle with both, the
presumed "space between" and I interpret it as some kind of interdimensional rift that
both worlds have discovered and now they will invade each other.

A sad state of affairs really. Y'all have just discovered an intelligent species from
another universe, can we get some diplomacy all up ins please???

Ooh, from a song. Ok, I'm not very knowledgeable about music so didn't know.
Only knew the other thing because I can't be bothered to use bookmarks, I just google AWBW
every day.
Edit: Can't actually think of much to say about the map itself.. Looks cool?
Xmo5 (08/25/2014 04:19pm | Edited: 08/25/2014 04:20pm):
I don't have to worry about that because if I type "a" into my address bar, it auto
completes the url to awbw.amarriner.com/yourturn.php. This is how I get to all my
frequent-use sites; just put in a letter or 2 and hit enter knowing where it will take me.

Here's an alphabetical sample of what my web browsing experience is like:

a = awbw.amarriner.com/yourturn.php
f = forums.xkcd.com
g = google.com
gm = gmail.com
h = headphone.110mb.com
i = isndev.omgforum.net

q = quora.com

I feel like the fronts are too divided, making it exceedingly difficult to transfer ground units properly. It seems that
the fronts are also designed to choke around the mountains in the northwest and southeast corners, which I
don't really like personaly. The centre front also seems under-used since it has far fewer contested properties
than the top and bottom.

Bearing this in mind, I think the map would be better if each side had a port in each sea, and you might also want
to shoal off the ports because I think battleships will be too powerful. You may want to widen the small route
around the pipes near the shoals to set up more interesting front dynamics and/or lighten the terrain in the
corners to encourage dynamic play around the two diagonal cities.

Currently an 8/10 for me, I think it'll be a 9/10 once you fix those issues.
