I like the basic framework of this map, but it needs some serious adjustments: 1) There are too many comtowers for CI! This kills the strategy. 2) Get rid of the forest and city clumps, and spread them out; rotational symmetry is key. 3) There are too many bases for each team! 4) Contested bases are blasphemy against the gods. 5) Unless you just dislike BH, you forgot to add an airport on BH's turf, and either way the airports are too close to the fronts. 6) Preowned cities/airports are (generally) a no-no, and this map is definitely not part of the exception. Regardless of whatever extent that they have in expediting battles, they kill all strategy. 7) CI is screwed, and will probably have its infantry routed by helicopters early on. |

You're welcome. Oh no, it looks like you have black tiles! You already published your map. If you unpublish, then edit again, your display here will not be changed at all (except for black tiles where properties should be). In the game it will appear the way that you edited it. I'm pretty sure that this information is not in the FAQ, so I'm going by memory here. Also, if you plan on staying for years to come, save your first map. I wish that I had. |
