He's currently in the arduous process of being taken to school in his own one-sided map, although I'm not quite sure I can fit spelling into the curriculum. |

Ah, now this one's closer to the map you were going for, with the mountains there. But there's a lot of missing cities that OS (well, Rubinelle) could easily acquire, making the game more balanced. I'm pretty sure Forsythe didn't have that many cities in DoR, either. Also, without the meteors and plasma, that missile is going to get chewed up and spit out by the B-Copter. |

LOL this guy is just priceless. More cities, more bases, more starting properties, more starting units, top tier character, naval advantage, aerial advantage, space advantage, chokepoint advantage, the ability to create units from cities and still complains it isnt fair. "Subject: that was a cheap win and you know it! 01/18/2015 06:55pm From: dudeman33 All you did was infantry spam I didn't have a chance And you played as kanbei way to use top tier characters scrub. If you had some guts you play me again and actually fight with honor " |

Nicely played. I've always found that Kanbei plays fairly poorly against most other broken COs (with the exception of an early strike on Colin) due to the power of numbers. Hachi, Sensei, and Colin are the kings of spam and can put up a meatshield so thick that Kanbei just doesn't have enough units to break through. What little real damage he can do only strengthens his enemy. Grit is a more even match I think because he doesn't play into Kanbei's weakness as much. On the other hand, predeployed units are Kanbei's friend :) That said, Hachi vs Kanbei in this scenario should be an easy match for Hachi. I'm not sure what kind of strategy he expected from Kanbei either, but it should be obvious that he can't crank out megatanks every other day or anything. I'm having fun trying his challenges on this map: http://awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=65658 He had another game on that map where he was YC as Hachi and wanted to play against Sami I think. I joined that one too, but it disappeared at some point before we played. |

Thanks :) I went in figuring he would pick Hachi and expected to lose to one of a million cheap shots Hachi has with that map, but he never went for any of them. Like you said, I went for what little advantage I could using the predeployeds. I considered Colin, but a rush from any decent CO would overcome him easily, especially with the abysmal income & factory situation. I just checked out those games. I look forward to what I see as their inevitable conclusion (your victory). Also, I have noticed that dudeman's games have a habit of randomly disappearing. Someone should ask him what's up with that. |
