Not too bad. I think the towers might be a bit close to the front line but the map otherwise it's decent. A couple more cities couldn't hurt either. |

I like where you stuck the airports. I don't care too much for the 3 big chokepoints being mid but that's just me. I feel like it's done maybe too often? Good map though. Nicely balanced. |

The map might look chokey, but the narrow points are not actually where fighting will take place. Due to the placement of the bases relative to the bridges, the fighting will occur somewhere closer to the mountain ranges. The city placement is a little off on the map currently though. On the lower front, OS has 3 cities that are in good position to build defenses around, while GE has maybe one (and it's the out of the way city in the corner). OS has no reason to attack, because there are no properties to gain, and GE has no real hope of mounting an attack on OS's cities near the mountains because they have no strong positions nearby to threaten OS from. I see two good options for fixes: 1) If you want to keep the funding about as it is now (and 14k for 2 bases + airport is perfectly reasonable), you need to shift a couple cities from the clump around the mountain so that both sides have defensive points and incentive to advance. 2) If you aren't fixed on the current funding level, you could just add a couple more cities between the GE HQ/preowned base and the mountain/tower area without changing anything. 16k is also quite reasonable for the current setup. Either approach works fine (though I would personally lean towards the first option). You made good terrain choices overall and have enough movement routes to keep battles interesting. 7/10 for me. |

I guess to clarify my comment a little- I was thinking along the lines of Walker's option 2. Funding wasn't the main reasoning with my comment on the number cities and I probably could have made that more obvious. As Walker pointed out, option 1 is also a perfectly valid solution depending on what you want out of the map. |
