I had a lot of trouble with this map when I started for some reason. I think it turned out okay, but
for inspiration was hard to come by this time around. I think it might be a little road heavy and
funding is a little higher than I wanted but I'm just going to publish it for now and come back to it
with a clear, well-rested mind (and hopefully some helpful feedback :P)

The shape reminds me a lot of Beyond Eternity, though the structure is completely different.

I think the map is in general maybe a bit too open. I think you can especially do better in the
very center, that seems like a good opportunity for interesting tactical play that isn't being fully
utilized yet. It is almost certainly worth terraining the center more heavily to force the battle into
the wider sections, especially with the openness around the more forward preowned bases. For
example, I think a mountain 1S of the AB tower could be a really nice edit, and you may
consider removing the northernmost mountain in the chain around AB's neutral base.

Yeah, I designed the central area near the beginning, before I even had fronts and I never really
went back to it. I guess I really should, huh? Looking at it in broad daylight the map does look
more open than how I remember it looking last night, so yeah I'll make some changes there.

As far as that mountain goes, I actually took it out and added it back in probably half a dozen
times already haha. One of my later edits was to push the shoals in the N/S ponds one step
further from the airport so it couldn't be locked and I probably should have removed the mountain
again at that point.

Added and removed suggested mountains plus added one in the middle and another in the big
open area in the HQ/tower/neutral base triangle. I also moved the secondary base 1 space
closer to the HQ because it speeds up early captures by 1 day on that front and it looks a lot
nicer. I might later come back and rearrange the cities slightly so there aren't so many 1-move
cities in that area, but I'll probably play-test first.
