Nice map |

Don't have many specific comments for improvement on this one. One nice tweak would be to put a city within 3 spaces of the lone base rather than the 2-base side. But I think the fronts are well-designed and don't suffer from the over-terraining that some of your other maps do. The shoals on river corners is a nice touch too, love that aesthetic. |

It seems I've found a Leo Tolstoy fan! :D Anyway, I think the left and right fronts are likely to stalemate because there aren't any contested properties to fight over. The clump of properties around the base and the HQ give both sides a decent backbone for defensive formations, so you're not likely to see any action there. The only really contested places will be the 2 central cities - everything else is pretty much locked in stone. Personally I would add a city to the left front, in place of the forest one space away vertically from the mountain. Maybe also shift the mountain a tile backwards so it's not too chokey. I like the centre, it's essentially one big fronts split into 3 mini-fronts with options of switching fronts through the forest. I also think it might be fun if you made an unbroken seam 3N of OS's neutral base to give players the option of keeping it as a defensive line or breaking it for easier access to the centre. It's largely up to you though, I think the map looks fine without it. |

Good call on the pipe seam Everdan, I agree that making it unbroken (I would even consider not making it a seam, just a solid section of pipe) would be a good touch to help emphasize the 2v1 setup a bit more. If you do that Bamboozle, leave the vertical seam broken; the idea is just to push the neutral base's units away from the center a bit. Really like that potential edit. I don't know if there's much need to encourage units to go out to the wide areas, honestly - if anything I would move the towers there rather than an additional city. I would put the tower 4N 2E of the OS HQ. There should be enough opportunity for dynamic play through the mini-fronts in the center that the wide fronts being more sparsely used should be okay. |

Made some changes, notably moving the towers and adding a pipeseam to that pipe formation. |
