I am a bit afraid of abuse of rockets. |

I like the idea of 4 mini-fronts with the potential of crossing over. But there are some things I would suggest you do. 1. Since you start with 4 bases, you should have 2 infs as the FTA counter. Just add another infantry to one of GS's bases and you'll be fine. 2. You're missing a few cities on the southwest front near the horizontal pipe seam. The northeast front has a misplaced mountain near the pipe seam. Also, your fronts aren't exactly the same size - it looks like the vertical pipes need to be moved 1 space to the right. Remember, the map should be rotationally symmetrical. 3. You should remove maybe half the mountains from each front. Each front is already pretty tight as it is, you really need to open up some movement options for tanks. 4. Extra pipe seams would be nice so it's easier to cross between the fronts. As it is they can be very easily blockaded. Also I would change the current pipe-seam to a pre-broken one so it's easier for units to switch fronts. 5. The bases can all be arty-locked, so you should place them far away enough from the centre that they're not vulnerable to that. A minimum of 2 spaces away from the pipe will do nicely. If you decide to change stuff based on the suggestions here and want more input, you can PM me and I'll take another look at it. Cheers! |

I agree with Everdan's comments, good input. Fixing the FTA counter and base arty-locking are especially critical edits needed. Symmetry is a good idea too, since it will help resolve a lot of minor balance issues that are very hard to handle otherwise. In addition I would remove the predeployed subs, and keep the area around the pipe seam unlocked so that vehicles can pass through. You might even consider replacing vertical sections of the pipe with rivers. Another good change is to move the towers out from the corners a bit. I wouldn't put them right in the center, but at least somewhere that they can be captured if a player gains an advantage in one quadrant. |

With regards to rockets, it might be a good idea to make those a lab unit. You would have to add labs, and I'm not sure exactly where they should go, but it would help a bit. |
