My first map! Please leave suggestions because I probably did a lot of stuff wrong. I was wondering if the HQs
should be in the middle and if this map should have the airports or not.

Really good for a first map actually. The north and bottom fronts are going
to stalemate most likely on account of how narrow they are, but I like how
the center island is designed.

fix the stalemate? Also is it possible to copy and pace parts of the map into a new map?

Btw Im looking for a program which can save maps as awbw or a program that converts aws/awm to awbw
because the upload awm gives me errors and I can't find an editor that saves as awbw text.

You could shift the airport island to the corners which would leave you with
more space to add land, but the airports won't be as contested as a result.
There isn't really a way to do it without changing the positions of the
countries; you could make it a north vs south battle and put the airport
islands on the sides, which could work.

I would also remove the mts directly north/south of those neutral center
bases because right now only infantry can get across.

As for files the only supported method of external upload is, as far as I
know, text. I remember there used to be a mapmaking site by Headphone or
Nyvelion that used to let you save as text and upload to awbw but I think
both are down.

Good feedback from Bamboozle- I agree on all accounts. I'd also be tempted to move the
central island bases a space or two closer to the beach (due east/west) and remove a
mountain or two near the end of each chain, just to open it up a bit. Also, to address the
airport location and chokepoints, you could always move the HQ part of the outside ring
closer to the edge of the map and use that to reposition the airport appropriately and
free up some space to make the front wider. Make sure the port bridge chokepoint is in a
location that won't see much battle- you don't want to stalemate because of it.

Anyway, pretty good map! I added it to Casual Play for the time being :)

It looks nice. However the central island is chockey and you can produce a rocket on your central base, put it one
tile up/down and it locks the enemy base. I think that should be prevented. Also black boats with 8 space
movement (Sami, Sensei and Drake) can rush both centrall bases.

Hmm ok Ill try remove a few mountains and change the center island a bit after the games are
finished. I'll also try shift the airport island locations to make room to fix the choke points on the
sides.
