You know how the old saying goes... |

The megatank can not guard two flanks and the HQ at the same time. The OS squad will be early to prevent the megatank from escaping. The army on the flanks will be to late to unite to one army. Without sufficient meatshielding, the artillary is useless. A sure winn for OS if they do not allow BH to unite their army to one decent army. Even if OS does, I think they can still win by taking the recons out by their Md tanks, even if that means losing the MD tanks. However it would be better to take out the BH recons with an tank+ recon. Maybe using mech is also possible. Also sacrificing an infantery and a recon to eliminate a mech is a decent choice. ~Seems like I commented and you changed the map. Now people are think what a useless comment did he place. |

This should be played with FoW and BH's CO should be Lash. |

As a person who can appreciate an obscure theme map, I can safely say, "WTF?" But in a good way. If only I could make a map packed with as much innuendo, I would know that I had peaked my abilities. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the term "If you open the door, it has to come out" originated in the late 1800s when invetentors had a "writers' block" in a sense. It was coined when the great inventor Paul Laurus was trying to "pry his mind open" to come up with an idea. He was so frustrated that he yelled it out in his lab. So, not that awful, really, unless you think about it. But come on, it was the 1800s. -J.O.M (The "O" stands for "Open wide") |

Why exactly can't the megatank just break the pipe itself on day 1? |
|
Just Look at My OPness (05/02/2015 07:22pm):
Because there's an APC there. |
|
walkerboh01 (05/02/2015 10:43pm):
Uh it's pretty easy to delete the APC. |
|
Just Look at My OPness (05/03/2015 07:29am):
You certainly could delete the APC, but doing so gets rid of your possibility to resupply when the pipe is broken, if OS doesn't block the way out. If you have a better idea, do tell, because I'm sure there's a better option. |

If you do not delete the APC, I guess your forces will be crippled easely. The ability to hide the mega tank in the forests is the only, as we say in dutch, thrump card in the BH army. Once the Mega tank is located. OS can 1. destroy the units on the other side, as the forrest tiles are located in such a way, that you can safely put your MD tank next to it, without worrying about that an hidden arty can hit it, if you use the recon properly. OS can use his rocket to prevent the mega tank from reaching the other side to early. 2. launch the missile on the Mega tank and attacking it with your boosted Neotank and MD tank. If one is hit by the arty, the other can still finish the Mega tank. Do not allow it to repair on the nearby city. 3. attack it with your boosted MD tank. it will be destroyed on counter attack. Launch your COP if you can. attack it with your tank. It will be desroyed on counter attack. Launch the missile and you COP if you did not before and after that finish with your Neotank. Note that a statonairy tank can be used well to put an outpost position on the flanks, if it is not in artyrange of an forrest. The tank is discardable if you would lose it. If your opponent attack the tank, You know which unit did it. If it is destroyed is was the Megatank and otherwise it are the units next to it, as it is out arty range. 2 meches can also destroy it, but those meches need to be in vision range of the tank. When you use all of this togheter I suppose there is a winning stategy* (even if you delete the APC). I would like to test if you do not agree with the claim that I have a winning strategy. *Last time you did not place a map comment when you changed it. So if you edit it afterwards the stategy might fail. Also rain changes thinga, so I assume clear weather. ** star is activated/ I do not know who gave a 10 for this, but if there really turns out to be a winning strategy, I assume it should not completely deserve a 10. ~Seems like the map declined in rate after my comment and the edits. YES! someone is reading my comments! |

Honestly, it is strange to me how a megatank can hide in a forest.. OS Soldier 1: Do you see a monstrous piece of machinery between those two trees? OS Soldier 2: No. I did not change the map at all, ever. Or something Clear weather CO bans for Orange Star: Sonja, Sturm, Flak, Nell, Jugger, and Kanbei. |

You did change the map again. It is ok to edit it. But I am not the one who post what your edits are and that makes all previous comments senseless. This current map is bad for another reason. I will not discuss it, as you might change it again. |
