Certainly interesting, though I'm not sure the infantry has an equal chance of escaping as the tank has of catching it. Testing (or thinking) would have to be done to make sure there isn't an "unbeatable strategy" for either player. The way I see it is that it becomes a race for the megatank to destroy the infantry before it runs out of fuel, right? Once it does (assuming the player doesn't refuel on their own HQ), the infantry can capture the HQ. Alternatively, if the megatank camps on the OS HQ or runs out of fuel adjacent to it, BM can probably capture enough towers to destroy it. First strike would be critical in that case, so a megatank camping on their own HQ would probably result in a stalemate since the infantry wouldn't want to approach within range. Maybe hide it behind a mountain? The infantry can't beat the megatank there on the open road so it wouldn't help the infantry with a rush capture. Come to think of it, can the megatank even make it to their HQ? Maybe give the megatank an isolated city or 2 to refuel with, but still block the OS HQ behind mountains. Refueling at the wrong time would cost them the game. |

it becomes a race for the megatank to destroy the infantry before it runs out of fuel. The mega tank has only 50 fuel. The infantry can refuel (on the neutral city& HQ). The mega tank can't reach its HQ. It is a revenge on http://www.awbw.amarriner.com/prevmaps.php?maps_id=67280. So the infantry is supposed to win. However it is tricky. The infantry needs the forrest, without the usage of the forrest the Mega tank can catch up with it. |
