I basically just wanted to make something using the map editor that was so generously setup/provided by theether and Nyvelion. So here's something... Link: http://stratecide.uphero.com/AWBWdesignmap.php |

Double airports are interesting, on a rather large map like this I think they could work in unexpectedly cool ways. Apart from that I don't have much more to say, looks well-designed and the fronts look like they'll develop in the right places. Center properties might be stalematey due to the defenses but the openness on the other parts of the map should allow breakthroughs. Cool stuff. |

Yeah, I'm hoping that with the double airports and slightly higher funding, bcopters can play a decent role in keeping the center open, despite the heavy terrain. Also, with 25k, a bomber/fighter possibility wouldn't be off the table, so I'm sort of hoping for something a little different than the usual, but that still works. |

HQs look considerably exposed, especially considering the 2v1 setup. I'd recommend you pull them back 3 squares or so, or at least put a Bboat on them. I'm also a bit worried that the fronts will develop at the centre, which is somewhat closed, and the bridge chokepoints closest to the centre, which isn't ideal.. Still the large map size helps to reduce clogging, which will probably mitigate that somewhat. Looks great otherwise :) |

Bamboozle and I played on this map (I made a few edits to the HQ area afterwards) and the HQ was slightly over contested, but not by as much as you might expect. The closer of the two airports played a role there, but I think it's in part due to the size of the map as well. The middle battle was just forming by the time the HQ battle was in full swing, IIRC, and it sort of pulled attention away for a short while. The chokey bridge didn't even come into play until the game was effectively over, actually. Granted, the changes made since that game alter the dynamic on the HQ front to make attacking more viable, so much of this could be moot now. |
