Okay, so this map was inspired partially by SuperAnon3MC's recent map "Towns" (in that the cities are clumped in more natural town-like gatherings than normal) and partially by "Stormiest Glen" (by Walker and Glenstorm) in that there are a lot of different options, though they are not mutually exclusive here as they are in Stormiest Glen. Anyway, the idea here is to use LiHF settings (high starting funds and low property income), hence the FTA counter being designed as it is. This setting makes it more practical to open pipe seams early on for obvious reasons, so I took advantage of that. There are a lot of production facilities, cities to capture, and units to free, each with benefits and drawbacks, so players must prioritize their opening moves. Hopefully this should not only provide different considerations for different COs, but also keep the beginning of the game fresh and different, since my experience says that the early stages of LiHF result in neotank/arty standoffs. The predeployed carrier should serve a couple of purposes- first, it acts as a barrier to getting to the port and freeing your units/accessing the island tower/potentially early airport access. Second, it locks the airport, even if it's captured the slower way. 3rd, it charges the enemy's meter substantially, so be careful and weigh your options accordingly. Finally, it adds for interesting vision capabilities in FoW by allowing the ability to see what the opponent is doing on both bases on that side (while losing airport locking ability, unless you're Sonja). Please keep in mind that I really didn't put much thought into the mechanics of this map- I sort of ran with my idea and didn't check my work too thoroughly. This, combined with the facts that LiHF is not fully explored and the map itself is a bit unconventional means that there are probably a whole host of things wrong with this map, so feel free to leave some input here if you see something I might have overlooked. That said, here are the recommended settings: Bans: Megatanks, Black Bombs, T Copters* Lab Units: Neotanks, Bombers, or Stealth (Pick 1- otherwise the lab is too important) Starting Funds: 150,000 - 250,000 (keep in mind the consequences of your choice) Income: 500 per property (leaves income at 13.5k I think- too low for 4 bases/2 airports) *You must use your predeployed tcopter to get the lab |

Beta to use the PD tcopter for the com tower, or beta to destroy the carrier and build a tcopter and transport the infantry to the com tower? |
