this map was based on the tunisia campaign (WW2) |

This might be not a bad map at all, however it could use some beaches. |

I'm gonna be honest, I completely ignored it at first, but I think you're right. This map is actually reasonably playable. I mean, it's uneven but not drastically so; the main problem is that it's fairly bland and straightforward. Dudeman, if you even things out a little bit, this could make it to Casual Play. I'd recommend removing one of OS's silos and positioning the cities in such a way to encourage healthy combat. It's okay in my mind for OS to have an airport while BM doesn't, so long as there are some fair compensations on BM's side. Extra funding, more defensible terrain, and more advantageous base position can all be used in this way. I'd also suggest adding some stuff between the bases in the south so there's a reason to attack multiple areas. Some terrain to break up the fronts would be nice too- give indirects a chance to shine. |

The compensation for the extra OS missile and the airport allready was there, BM gets an extra base. |
Xmo5 (01/09/2016 12:41pm):
Yeah, but OS also gets an airport that BM doesn't get, which, IMO is worth more than a base since BM doesn't have one. In other words, being the only player capable of building air units is worth more than having an extra base. The heavier the terrain between the bases, the more exaggerated that is. |
