I am well aware that this map, at this point in time, looks very ugly; I'll fix that part later. For now lets just focus on strategy and features... First of all, I think OS has an offensive advantage over BM, however I also think BM has a defensive advantage over OS. So while it slightly balances, I think Orange Star still has the upper hand. (Any advice to fix this would be helpful.) Secondly, the warp tiles go where Warp Pipes and Star Roads are. While they are ugly looking, they are extremely helpful for moving units across the large map, and it also helps to partly prevent the units from becoming a massive clutter and breaking the map. The third thing I would like to point out is that the Water Factory, based on the Flooded Fortress, is only good for Infantry and Mechs. While that may seem pointless at first, it actually works out alright for either side that captures it. For Orange Star it will speed up the capture of Properties in the Twin Bridges area. For Blue Moon it will be a major help if they want to capture the opposing HQ itself. I think that covers everything I want to say beforehand. (Except that I think the Forest of Illusion needs more properties...) |

I think OS has too much of an upper hand here. A quick glance of mine shows OS has: -easier access to both com towers -2 cities that BM can't contest. ever. (SW and that one accessible only by black (hole) tiles) Who cares about defense when you're behind on funds lol then again it's probably for fun More shortcuts for BM would be better for balance, however Also, Jackie, leave some monikers (or whatever the hell they're called) for the rest of us, thanks. |

After collecting a bit of battle data, I figured out a few things that I think may improve the map: 1. Add warps tiles in Forest of Illusion. (Helps blue moon move a bit faster) 2. Add a Factory where the Forest Ghost House is located. (Helps Blue Moon gain some offense) 3. Make it so that the Forest of Illusion warp point isn't blocked by a single unit. (Prevents clogging made by forcibly using the Twin Bridges route by opposing team) Anyone else have anything to add? |

4. Move that base away from the adjacent black tiles. 5. If you wanted to really use lab unita here, make it so OS has to fight to get the lab. 6.(this may wreck your idea, but) make every island section thingy whatever connected. or not. only if you want. |

I think BM needs serious boosting to be competitive. On our test game even after successfully pulling off a super risky rush, I'm still behind on funds 14k to 9k, and OS has 2 com towers available to BM's 1 com tower. BM also doesn't have a way to reasonably contest the northern properties, so if each player gets what I would consider their 'fair share', OS would be ahead on funding 17k to 8k. |
