Do not forget about the FTA counter. Or does the assymetrical map counter it itself?

It needs a counter but there really isn't a perfect one in this case because it's a single base and a single front. Also,
more frequently than not, asymmetry makes FTA worse, not better. I'm not sure I've ever seen a map use
asymmetry to balance FTA.

I mean Im just trying to make a fairly balanced map for small size mid income battles, though I can do a CI infantry
start for FTA if you recommend it?

For FTA on this map, the best thing you can do is to make the port neutral, put an extra
city within one move of each players' starting base, and then make the one near GS
preowned by CI (the other should be neutral). You can see this commonly on 3-base maps,
like Truth Is:

Also, with respect to income, this is a very low income map and you probably won't see
many air or naval units. It could benefit from more cities. A predeployed bboat and a
couple islands would help, but then you run into the issue of your opponent's funding
changing very little as you progress, making it hard to finish them off. Higher income per
property requires special FTA counter techniques that don't really work with a 1-base map.
