+ 2 for making the map. + 1.6 for creativity (1.6/2) + 1 for terrain variety (1/1.5) + 1.6 for complexity (1.6/2) + 0.5 for the map name as bonus points +1 for equality + 0.5 for gameplay (stuff like chockiness, or had a test on the map, 0.5/1) 8.2/10. Okay, acting like an map judge was fun. Note that I'm not a good map critic. The towers and the airports'll help with the chocky points, while the chocky points helps to protect the towers. The rivers were pretty cool, and it enabled multiple paths in the fronts. And it's also nice that it has multiple fronts and units can easily move from one to another. So overall, it's a nice map, and the gameplay would be interesting. |

the map has a symmetry issue there is a forest at 18,5 but there is none at 2,10 |

I would recommend a 1 turn base skip for P1 by capturing the city between the preowned and neutral base. This breaks tank order in favor of P1 (becoming ABAB for a P1 skipper). P2 skipper gets BAAB tank order if P1 doesn't skip, but the skip also places your infantry into a far more developed position for followup captures, so it quite possibly worth it. If you don't skip, the infantry that follows up to back cap the property is a bit out of the action for a while. Notably, if both players skip, it turns into ABBA tank order: however, P2 needs to commit to the skip first to ensure this timing. At worst I think this might end up as a knowledge check similar to Vadum of Valhalla: there shouldn’t be much or any of a TA issue if both players know about it since I think the skip is just more efficient with early infantry than going straight for the base anyways, even with the unit count hit. |
