The concept's cool, but it's still possible for each players to block-off their side-islands to stop enemy copters. And about the FTA counter, it doesn't work quite well in this case (normally it works) because an experienced OS players could get all missiles if they want to, by attacking one of the enemy's inf and using copters to block-off enemies since they can move first. (I could be wrong though. Didn't have time to look at it more closely.) |

Also, Vikings didn't have t-copters. |
|
Nyvelion (10/03/2016 08:23am):
We don't know that. |
|
Xmo5 (10/03/2016 11:29am):
But we do know that if they had t-copters, they certainly didn't have horned helmets. Personally, the only t-copters I know of *all* have horned helmets, so I feel pretty confident that Vikings never had t-copters. |

Nyvelion (10/03/2016 11:50am):
Well of course they didn't have horned helmets, that's ridiculous and any movie depicting horned helmets on vikings is clearly terrible. What purpose would that serve, you can't just charge the enemy literally head first like a bull. It would be awesome, but also completely impractical, like the Scottish who supposedly charged into battle naked for intimidation, or when Germany tried to pull a Grit and increase the range of rockets so that they had to compensate for leaving and reentering the atmosphere before realizing they couldn't even hit the city they were aiming for at that range even without considering the cost. Anyway, also awesome about the Vikings is that, though it wouldn't be impressive now, the Viking society had better gender equality than those to the south of them. Might not be saying much, since their neighbors were Christians who aren't known for being very progressive when it comes to gender equality, but still, they had women warriors, as recently discovered in archeological digs, had women in more positions of power, and arguably had an even better system against rape than the USA does now. |

That's pretty cool, actually. Viking (women) rule! (sorta) |

Woot! Archaeology! |

Xmo5 (10/03/2016 04:06pm):
What are you all excited about? I thought you wanted to be a plumber? Er wait, something else with a lot of water. Whatever, it's all the same, right? ;) |
|
Nyvelion (10/03/2016 04:46pm):
Something else with a lot of water? I didn't know you wanted to be a marine biologist. |
|
Jackie Milton (10/03/2016 05:37pm):
I was specifically told over Plebe summer that I was neither "a plumber" nor "a handyman" but I'll save the story of my 3 O'clock plumbing shenanigans for another time... No, didn't you guys know I'm a certified archaeologist? (Also, as of a few days ago, I am an official member of the "Clean Plate Club" from King's Chef Diner"). And maybe I'll be a Marine, but likely not a biologist. That is unless I plan to do biology on Marines by splicing their genes with kangaroos creating super-soldiers well-suited to thrive in the post-apocalyptic world and ultimately become the downfall of Malcolm McDowell. Or something. |

Xmo5 (10/03/2016 09:08pm):
Wait, then what is there to archeloge about water? You're clearly a bit confused. But the kanagroo Marines do sound pretty sick. |

Xmo5 (10/05/2016 11:17am):
Haha I knew exactly what that was before I even opened the link! I certainly set myself up for that one :P |
