Welcome to AWBW :)
The map looks really cool, and it should be fine if it's 2v2, top vs bottom.
Although it could use some contesting citie in the center so it'll speed up the game.

And it needs some FTA, or first turn advantage, for the players that moves after the first player.
In this case you could just switch YC with GE, so the team orders will be ABBA. Fair for both teams.
And unless you want more complex counters, I would suggest to make all cities nuetral since
they affects FTA.

If it's free-for-all, then the areas between left&right should be more open so it won't cause stalemates,
and BM should switch with YC to have less interactions with OS, while giving GE and YC one starting city
around OS and BM's bases. (so they can capture them right-away)

Overall, it's a pretty great map considering it's asymmetry, and it just looks great :)

Good feedback here already, but I'll add that making the preowned cities neutral to start would help balance FTA a
bit too. Maybe add some more cities to fight over in the middle as well.

Cheers guys, I'll implement these changes ASAP. :) (Map currently in
use)

EDIT: Actually, I'll just make a mark II next time I get a chance, and implement everything that's been said. I tried
to do it then but I timed out apparently or something and lost everything, so maybe when I next get motivation. :')

So the TL:DR is:

- Make more open space to avoid stalemates.
- Make all bases Neutral, bar 1 GE near OS and 1 YC near BM.
- Add a couple more Neutral cities.
- Swap YC with GE, then GE with BM (For FFA + 2 v 2 to work)
